bulletNational Youth Gathering — Youth from Morning Star have attended NYG in Atlanta and Philadelphia.  In 2001 nine of our members joined 150+ other youth from Nebraska for a week long work trip to Thunder Bay, Ontario. They worked with people from the First Nations, Canada's native citizens.  Peter Eide, a full time national singer and song writer joined them to lead their worship experiences.

Faith Mentors — These people model their faith to youth at Morning Star, one-on-one during the Lenten Season. Role models:

·        Love God and enjoy being with young people.

·        Are able to accept youth where they are and let them progress at their own speed.

 ·        Are accessible, open and willing to take the time to listen.

·        Have a caring, non-judgmental supportive attitude.

·        Are mature and trustworthy.

·        Are faithful in their own Christian life.

They commit to one hour a week during and after Wednesday Lenten Services.

Morning Star Preschool/Child Care Center — Provides quality care for children ages 6 weeks - 6 years.
